The Arkansas Razorbacks brought in four 4-star receivers (and a 4-star tight end) in their 2019 recruiting class, and they hope some can make an immediate impact.

One guy who is already drawing rave reviews is Trey Knox, who is taking Fayetteville by storm, it seems.

On Saturday, coach Chad Morris continued to sing Knox’s praises, saying his attitude and talent is infectious (via 247Sports):

“Trey Knox, he smiles because he loves life. This guy truly loves every day he wakes up. It’s not a front, he’s been smiling since the day he got here. It’s a credit to his family, and it’s a credit to the way he views everyday life.

“He gets everybody smiling, so not only is this a really good football player, but this is a young man that has come in and raises the standard in that room with everybody,” Morris said. “He has made some of those guys who may be on that second tier, he’s pushing them and elevating them. Not just him, be we’ve got a lot of these young guys that are coming in that are doing that. We want them to be themselves. We brought them in here to challenge, to push, to create competition because we know it would make everybody better. For day one, we’ve seen that. You can definitely tell this football team has worked extremely hard this summer on their own. Player led workouts, this is as good a first day in grasping the install that I’ve been a part of. It’s strictly their hard work and what they did, and the meetings that they’ve had.”

Knox showed what he can do during the spring game on this incredible play. The Razorbacks are hoping there’s a lot more where that came from this fall.
