Emmanuel Acho shredded on Twitter for segment crying ‘SEC bias’ following Georgia’s CFP berth
By Keith Farner

Emmanuel Acho is just the latest college football analyst to take a swing at the SEC.
The FOX Sports analyst sounded off about SEC bias influencing Georgia’s berth in the College Football Playoff.
“See the reason Georgia made the playoffs is we thought Georgia was great,” he said. “But why did we think Georgia was great? Because of SEC bias.”
It’s time we have a real, honest and blunt conversation about SEC bias.
It hurts every team not in the SEC and it’s not fair to the sport.#CFBPlayoff

Predictably, Acho faced a mountain of backlash, as SEC fans quickly pointed out NFL draft picks by conference, and head to head records with other Power 5 conferences. They also called him out for promoting Michigan’s win over Iowa, but not giving the same treatment for Alabama’s win over Georgia. One fan even asked, perhaps sarcastically, if anyone proofread this before he said it on live television on “Speak for Yourself” on FS1.
Finally, fans did not forget that Acho’s alma mater, Texas, was dominated by Arkansas.

I guess the NFL has an SEC bias too 🤣 pic.twitter.com/ri4cgIcbEB

SEC vs. ACC: 296-148-10
SEC vs. Big 12: 86-69-6
SEC vs. Big Ten: 87-58-2
SEC vs. Pac-12: 69-40-5— TH121 (@tihill121) December 8, 2021
I love how you have to make up a new arbitrary number like top 20 wins 😂 it’s always been top 25 but that wouldn’t fit your narrative
Plus let’s count Michigan’s win over Iowa but don’t you dare count Alabama’s win over Georgia

You really just said “when you remove Alabama’s win over top 3 Georgia, they only have 1 top flight win, while Michigan has two”

Arkansas was number 8 because they skull-dragged YOUR alma mater. Sit this one out.

“Let’s look at Alabama (Not including Georgia) They have 1 top ranked win over #8 Ole Miss.”
Look at Michigan they have 2 top-ranked wins 1 over #6 Ohio State and the other over #15 Iowa.
Pretty big to exclude a win over the #1 team to make a moot point.
