Former Florida RB Jordan Cronkrite announced in December that he’d leave the Gators and play for a new school in 2017, but he didn’t announce what school that would be.
On Thursday, though, it was reported that the ex-Gator would head to USF, where he’ll play for newly hired coach Charlie Strong:

Told y'all, my plan B was just another way for plan A to work! Thank you Coach Strong for the opportunity #GoBulls ??

In two years with the Gators, Cronkrite ran for 302 yards and four touchdowns on 75 carries. He also caught 26 passes for 209 yards and two more scores.
The Gators currently have a backfield with Jordan Scarlett, Mark Thompson and Lamical Perine, all of whom figure to receive their fair share of carries in 2017.
Cronkrite will be eligible to play for the Bulls in 2018 after sitting out this fall due to NCAA transfer rules.
