Former Georgia DB Aaron Davis didn’t hear his name called in the 2018 NFL Draft, but managed to sign with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent following the event.
However, back in June, the Giants waived Davis, making him a free agent once again. Now, just in time for Week 2 of the preseason, Davis has a new NFL home.
According to a tweet from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Davis is heading to Tampa, where he’ll try to add some depth to the Bucs’ secondary:
We have made a half-dozen roster moves, including the additions of CBs Amari Coleman and Aaron Davis.https://t.co/CZl45ZJmr4

During his college career, Davis recorded 184 tackles, five interceptions and 4.5 sacks in four seasons.
He still has a long way to go to make the Bucs’ roster, but he’ll be happy to have a team for the next few weeks, at least.
