In six professional seasons, former Georgia WR A.J. Green has been one of the best receivers in the NFL, putting up 481 catches for 7,135 yards so far.

As the 2017 season gets underway, the Cincinnati Bengals star wants to continue to put up big numbers.

In fact, he told Cincinnati.com that his ultimate goal is to one day be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio:

“I want to be a Hall of Famer,” Green said. “I think that’s the ultimate goal and why a lot of people play this game. As a team, it’s winning the Super Bowl and I guess the next step is to get into the Hall of Fame. I think that’s what pushes me every year. I want to be one of the best that ever played the position. That’s my approach every year.”

The Bengals and QB Andy Dalton will likely rely heavily on Green once again this season, so as long as he can stay healthy, he should put up big numbers.

Green and the Bengals take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. Eastern time. The game can be seen on CBS.
