“We are definitely excited to bring Coach (Brian) Jones on board,” said Central Methodist head coach David S. Calloway. “He will be a great addition to our program.”

Jones coached alongside former Missouri coach Gary Pinkel from 1992-2015, beginning as a receivers coach for three years. He moved from receivers to running backs for the 1995 season, and followed Pinkel to Mizzou in 2001, holding the same role through the 2015 season.

Pinkel retired last fall for health reasons and was succeeded by Barry Odom. Odom moved longtime Mizzou assistant Cornell Ford, previously the cornerbacks coach, to running backs coach for the ’16 season.
