Jimbo Fisher emphasizes 12th Man advantage at Kyle Field: ‘Not a better place to play’

You don’t have to be an avid SEC fan to know about the 12th Man. Sure, there’s the Seattle Seahawks tie, but when you think of that phrase you think Texas A&M Aggies football.
Kyle Field is going to be rocking this Saturday as head coach Jimbo Fisher’s Aggies face off against Nick Saban, QB Jalen Milroe and Alabama’s stout defensive unit.
The Aggies have won 5 in a row in College Station dating back to last season. And they face an Alabama squad that may have dropped one to Texas earlier in the year, but is still one of the top 2 teams in the conference even despite it’s inconsistent play on offense.
As long as the Aggies are at Kyle field, there’s a chance. That’s how much of an impact this crowd has. Fisher painted that picture Monday to reporters:
Jimbo Fisher: “There is not a better place to play a football game and be a home team than right here at Kyle Field.”

Texas A&M and the Crimson Tide should be in for a good one. Both have strong defenses that are starting to play to their true potential, but Texas A&M’s offense has looked slightly more consistent despite the loss of Conner Weigman.
And still, Bobby Petrino’s group has yet to face a defense like Alabama’s this season. We’ll learn more about the Aggies and Tide Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
