LOOK: Graphic shows four-year map of Playoff recruiting classes
By Keith Farner
Published:
A snapshot of the last four years of recruiting classes shows how Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Oklahoma have secured recruits from across America.
The Sport Source Analytics graphic also confirmed a known geographic trend about where most of the recruits come from — largely from the Southeast and Texas. Notre Dame had the widest geographic swath of recruits from every corner of the country, while Clemson and Alabama were most concentrated within bordering states.
Among states with the most signees came, Texas had the most by a wide margin, 83, compared to Alabama, which was second at 64, South Carolina third with 61, Florida at fourth with 50 and Georgia fifth at 47.
