Though Saturday’s game against Florida has been canceled, LSU coach Ed Orgeron isn’t resting.

Coach O will be taking in some Friday night high school games tonight, scouting out potential LSU targets:

If Orgeron is going to land the full-time LSU coaching job at the end of the season, he’ll need to convince the commits who signed to play for Les Miles to honor their commitments with Coach O at the helm.

According to 247Sports, LSU has the No. 4 overall 2017 recruiting class, with 19 players committed to the Tigers. If Coach O can hold on to a majority of those players, he’ll have a good shot at the full-time gig.
