LSU guard and former Illinois transfer Adam Miller is looking for another program.

Travis Branham of 247Sports reported that Miller, a former top 50 prospect, has entered the transfer portal. Miller’s season ended in October when he suffered a torn ACL.

Miller, who is 6-foot-2 was expected to make an immediate impact for LSU this past season after he started all 31 games for the Fighting Illini last season. For Illinois, he finished the season averaging 8.3 points and 2.8 rebounds while he shot 34 percent from 3-point range. Miller scored 10 points in both of Illinois’ NCAA tournament games.

Miller is the second LSU player on Tuesday alone to enter the portal. Jerrell Colbert, a freshman center, also entered the transfer portal. Colbert appeared in just 4 games this past season for LSU, and made one of four shots, pulled down 5 rebounds and blocked 3 shots. This followed similar departures by freshman guard Brandon Murray and graduate Xavier Pinson, along with Shareef O’Neal.

Miller was a 247Sports Composite 4-star recruit out of Chicago’s Morgan Park High School. He was also the No. 33 ranked overall prospect, No. 6 ranked shooting guard, and No. 2 ranked player in the state of Illinois in the recruiting class of 2020.

Coach Matt McMahon has his work cut out for him to rebuild the roster.
