The New York Jets selected former Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
However, after a lackluster rookie season, Stewart was suspended for the first two games of the 2018 season for a violation of the league’s PED policy.
Upon his return from suspension, the Jets have instead decided to waive the former Crimson Tide standout:

Stewart had six catches for 82 yards last season and showed some flashes of improvement in the preseason.
As a young receiver who hasn’t played much, he may be able to catch on with a team soon, but he’ll face an uphill battle to make a contribution this year. We’ll have to wait to see where he ends up next.
