Though no one should be worried about Alabama’s 2018 recruiting class, the Crimson Tide have gotten off to a sluggish start on the recruiting trails.
On Saturday, the Tide took a hit, as California OL Jarrett Bell de-committed from the school.
CBS recruiting analyst Greg Biggins reported Bell’s de-commitment on Twitter on Saturday afternoon as the Tide were preparing for that night’s game at Mississippi State:
Norco (Calif.) OL Jarrett Bell has de-committed from #Alabama and is opening up his recruitment, will still consider the Tide moving forward https://t.co/8Gs2U8vq3c

According to the 247Sports composite, Bell is the No. 22 offensive guard in the 2018 class and the No. 61 overall player from the state of California.
According to Biggins, Bell will still consider Alabama, but other teams like UCLA, USC and Arizona are in the mix for his services, too.
The 6-5, 295-pound lineman is sure to have plenty of suitors, so it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up playing next fall.
