Now that the college football season is over for every SEC school not named Alabama, it’s time to shift the attention over to the hardwood, where the conference basketball season is about to start.
SEC play officially tips off on Saturday, starting with No. 13 Kentucky’s trip to Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama.
As you can see below, there are five league games on Saturday, and all five are televised (all times listed in Eastern time):
- Kentucky at Alabama, 1 p.m., ESPN
- Georgia at Tennessee, 3:30 p.m., SEC Network
- Arkansas at Texas A&M, 6 p.m., SEC Network
- South Carolina at Florida, 7 p.m., ESPN2
- Ole Miss at Vanderbilt, 8:30 p.m., SEC Network
Mizzou, LSU and Mississippi State all start conference play on Tuesday, while Auburn’s first SEC game isn’t until Wednesday.
Currently, the SEC has four ranked teams — No. 3 Tennessee, No. 12 Auburn, No. 13 Kentucky and No. 17 Mississippi State.
