Assemian is rated as the No. 118 overall prospect in the Class of 2025, as well as the No. 23 power forward and the No. 2 player out of South Carolina.
The Gamecocks have sat near the bottom of the SEC hoops scene for some time now but has a new-look team ready to hit the court this season.
Meechie Johnson, one of the top point guards in the SEC, is back for another season after withdrawing from the NBA Draft. The Gamecocks also added Vanderbilt transfer Myles Stute and Wofford transfer BJ Mack.
