Sporting News picks SEC East, West winners and SEC champion

Last year, Alabama didn’t even win the SEC West (that honor went to Auburn), but the Crimson Tide still managed to make it to the College Football Playoff and, of course, ended up winning the title.
Georgia, the SEC East champion, actually won the SEC title before losing to Bama in the championship game.
This year, both teams should be great once again, and Sporting News projects that both teams will meet in Atlanta this December.
According to Sporting News, Georgia is the heavy favorite to win the East, with Alabama favored to win the West.
When it comes to the title game, the publication has Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide hoisting the trophy.
