By now, most college football fans who follow betting lines are aware that the LSU-Clemson game spread is about 5.5 or 6 points entering Monday’s national championship at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

But BetOnline.ag has released a series of bets that offer a glimpse into how the game might unfold. Prop bets include a reference to “Refrigerator” Perry, the first touchdown scorer of the game, longest completion and longest touchdown to name a few. Margin of victory and even President Donald Trump’s interaction and involvement with the game are covered.

This is one of the most anticipated national championship games in recent memory, and only the Southern Cal-Texas game in 2005, in recent decades, is similar in terms of buildup and ultimate outcome.

The teams advanced to New Orleans after LSU dismantled Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl 63-28 and Clemson rallied from 16-points down to eliminate Ohio State 29-23 in the Fiesta Bowl in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

It’s a classic matchup of top-tier quarterbacks in Joe Burrow, the recently crowned Heisman Trophy winner, and Trevor Lawrence, who are each widely expected to be top NFL draft picks each of the next two springs.

The winner will either be LSU, which would put together a historic season with seven top 10 wins, or Clemson, which could stake its claim to a dynasty as it would mean three national championships in four seasons.
