There looks to be a 75 percent chance of the top junior college defensive end joining the SEC West in 2017.
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College DE Isaiah Buggs, a Ruston, La. native, tweeted his updated top eight schools Wednesday, and every member of the division except Mississippi State makes the list.
For the next few months im going to be spending my time looking into these schools closely. Thank you❗️ pic.twitter.com/hIkKyWUOlw

The home-state Tigers have been the most interesting team to follow in Buggs’ recruitment. He previously released a top 10 in April which included seven SEC schools, but LSU was noticeably absent.
According to Times-Picayune reporter Julie Boudwin, Buggs was highly critical of the LSU coaches times at the time:
“Having a relationship is key … Coaches must build a relationship something LSU has not been doing.”
The LSU staff appears to have made up some ground this past weekend when Buggs visited Baton Rouge, as the Bayou Bengals are now in the top eight. LSU has been on a recruiting roll lately, adding five commitments in the last six days.
Georgia and Florida were previously listed at Nos. 9 and 10 last month.
