It’s been 20 years since ESPN College GameDay analyst Lee Corso first donned Brutus the Buckeye’s headgear while making a pick on the show.
Today, in College Station ahead of this afternoon’s matchup between No. 8 Texas A&M and No. 9 Tennessee, a segment aired celebrating Corso.
After the conclusion of the segment, a teary Corso thanked everyone on the set and gave a special thanks to ESPN for sticking with him when he had a stroke.
The segment, voiced by Tom Rinaldi, was well-received on Twitter:

There is nobody that has done more for popularity of Cfb than Coach Corso. There is also nobody better. The best. Period. Happy 20th coach! https://t.co/yITsXwithC
