Ron Rivera unleashes NSFW rant following Washington’s Thursday Night Football victory

Ron Rivera was not happy on Thursday with reports around the Washington Commanders that took away from the performance on the field.
Rivera strongly defended his role in acquiring quarterback Carson Wentz, and promptly ended his news conference by walking off the podium. Rivera earlier in the week was asked what separated the Commanders from other teams in the NFC East — and he said it’s the quarterback — and that came before an ESPN report surfaced Thursday that owner Daniel Snyder played a significant role in wanting Wentz.
Rivera continued to explain that he was concerned with the locker room atmosphere.
“I’m going to speak my mind for a second,” Rivera said. “Honestly, it’s been hard, it really has, you lose 4 games in a row and everybody wants to get on you. They’ve played their asses off, they have, they’ve played their asses off for everybody. They come out and they show up, they work hard, alright they don’t complain, OK. They hear all the stuff and they’ve got to deal with it, OK. I respect them for that because they’re resilient and they come back. Everybody keeps wanting to say I didn’t want anything to do with Carson, well bull—- I’m the f—— guy that pulled out the sheets of paper … that watched the tape when we were in freaking Indianapolis. The young man doesn’t deserve to have that all the time.”
“I’m sorry, I’m done,” Rivera said as he headed toward a door after Washington’s 12-7 win over the Chicago Bears.
