Social media reacts to listless 1st half of Commanders-Bears ‘Thursday Night Football’ game

The Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears are facing off in the latest edition of “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon is paying the NFL $1 billion a year in rights fees for the next 11 years. While the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers provided a good matchup for the package’s regular season debut in Week 2, along with strong ratings, the last 2 TNF games have been anything but thrilling.
In Week 5, the Indianapolis Colts squeaked out a 12-9 overtime win at the Denver Broncos. Week 6 couldn’t be any worse, could it?
Wrong. The Commanders have a 3-0 lead at halftime, as Carson Wentz and Justin Fields have combined for 136 yards passing. Outside of a 64-year Khalil Herbert run, the 2 teams have totaled 111 rushing yards.
As you might imagine, there was plenty of negative feedback on social media after yet another slog of a game on Amazon, as well as Al Michaels’ potential reactions to the contest, as you can see below:
Al Michaels should bust out "DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES" if someone scores a touchdown tonight.

I’m pretty sure even Jeff Bezos is watching Greys Anatomy instead of Thursday Night Football tonight.

I’m starting to think that professional football on 3 days rest isn’t the best viewing product.

"God forbid" (anyone scores touchdown on #TNF)
Al Michaels might just walk at halftime.

What did Al Michaels do to deserve this.

As much as I hate my job some days, at least I haven't been Al Michaels for the past 2 weeks.
Thursday Night Football stinks.
