The Knights led 14-10 after a quarter of play before the Owls pulled to within 14-13 with 8 minutes, 43 seconds remaining until halftime. But UCF scored 56 unanswered points the rest of the way to turn a close affair into a blowout.
After a loss to Louisville, Gus Malzahn’s team has rattled off 4 straight wins and is now 5-1. Can Plumlee and the Knights claim a first American Athletic Conference title since 2018 in their final season before heading to the Big 12? They next travel to East Carolina on Oct. 22.
