Recently, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin revealed that the Rebels had hit a 100% vaccination rate within the program.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the Mississippi hospital system, where ER beds are reportedly getting very difficult to come by, Kiffin hasn’t shied away from addressing the matter of vaccines. He said recently: “I think it’s irresponsible to not to get the vaccine. I realize I’ll be criticized for that, but I just do.
On Thursday, Kiffin appeared on MSNBC to discuss his team’s vaccination rate and to encourage others in the state to get the vaccine:
Kiffin lauded the efforts of Ole Miss’s medical staff for leading the charge to get players and coaches vaccinated.
“I think what they would say is they decided to protect their team,” he said.
