After a tough loss to Alabama last week, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has liked the bounce back effort from his team this week.
After facing a loss like last week’s it can be easy to get out of focus and get too hung up on losing, but Kiffin has seen the opposite from his team as they get ready to take on LSU.
“It’s been great, guys are locked in, focused on a huge game, big rivalry around here,” Kiffin said during the SEC coaches teleconference. “Last time they were here, we won and it was exciting and trying to do the same thing again.”
The game between Ole Miss and LSU is a big one, to say the least. Ole Miss is looking to avoid an 0-2 start to SEC play while LSU looks to remain undefeated and carve another path to the SEC Championship.
The Tigers cruised to a win last year, but with the game returning to Oxford, Kiffin and his squad will be looking to get some revenge.
