Malik Heath received some praise from Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love on Saturday. Heath attended Mississippi State and Ole Miss for college.

Heath brought in 4 receptions for 35 yards receiving on Saturday. This preseason, he had 146 yards receiving from 12 receptions. Green Bay won its final game of the preseason 19-15 against the Seattle Seahawks.

One thing that Love likes about Heath is how the Packers’ wideout battles for receptions.

“He’s balled out since he got here,” said Love. “I think the biggest thing since he got here is just how aggressive he catches the ball, he attacks it, his mentality, and once he catches it he’s trying to get those yards.”

Heath has been battling for a spot in a WR room that includes the likes Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson.

Heath went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft. He signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in May.

Even if Heath doesn’t make the Green Bay roster, he has made a good case for another team to pick him up.
