Ole Miss reveals a pair of awesome events prior to kickoff vs. LSU

No. 20 Ole Miss will aim to bounce back from a loss to Alabama when they host No. 13 LSU in Week 5.
Ole Miss recently revealed that Navy Petty Officer First Class (ret.) Generald Wilson will sing the national anthem and the Para-Commandos will deliver the game ball for the SEC West showdown. Wilson has performed at almost 1,000 events including the NFL, World Series, and NCAA championships.

Ole Miss fell 24-10 at Alabama. Quarterback Jaxson Dart finished 20-for-35 for 244 yards and an interception. Ole Miss was limited to 56 rushing yards and went 3-for-14 on 3rd down conversions. Ole Miss previously scored at least 37 points in its first 3 games.
LSU is coming off a narrow 34-31 victory vs. Arkansas that required a game-winning 20-yard field goal from Damian Ramos with 5 seconds remaining.
LSU leads the all-time series 65-41-4 against Ole Miss. LSU has won 7 of the last 8 matchups between the programs.
LSU won last season’s meeting 45-20 in Baton Rouge. In that win, quarterback Jayden Daniels went 21-for-28 for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with 121 yards and 3 scores on the ground. For Ole Miss, running back Quinshon Judkins rushed for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.
LSU at Ole Miss is slated for a 6 p.m. EST kickoff on Sept. 30 and will be televised on ESPN.
