With all the noise surrounding the Ole Miss program heading into fall camp, Rebel fans likely need some reason for optimism. Right on cue, here comes sophomore quarterback Shea Patterson to the rescue.
Arguably the most anticipated player in recent program history, this could prove to be the first of many times Patterson accomplishes to lift the spirit of the Ole Mis faithful with football season just around the corner.

While many Ole Miss fans will understandably have subdued interest in the upcoming season, it very well could prove to be worth watching as it will mark the beginning of a new exciting era in Oxford — the Shea Patterson era.
