10 SEC stars projected to go in Round 1 of NFL.com’s latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft

The 2022 NFL Draft is coming up a week from Thursday in Las Vegas, with Round 1 beginning on Thursday, April 28.

When commissioner Roger Goodell steps to the podium on Thursday night, he’s sure to announce several SEC players’ names.

This week, NFL.com analyst Peter Schrager released his updated Round 1 mock draft, and he has 10 SEC stars going in the first 32 picks:

  • No. 1 — Travon Walker, DL, Georgia — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 5 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — New York Giants
  • No. 8 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 9 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 10 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — New York Jets
  • No. 17 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 19 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 26 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 28 — Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 32 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Detroit Lions
