Aeryn Hampton, 4-star ATH out of Texas for 2024, drops top 7 list

Aeryn Hampton is a 4-star athlete out of Daingerfield, Texas for the 2024 recruiting class. On Wednesday, Hampton dropped a list of his top 7 programs moving forward.
Out of the SEC, Hampton kept Alabama and LSU in the mix for his commitment. Oklahoma and Texas — bound for the SEC in 2025 — also made the cut with Oregon, Michigan and Nebraska rounding out the full list.

Listed at 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, Hampton checks in as a 4-star recruit and the No. 12 player out of Texas per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. Hampton is also the 77th overall recruit in the country and the No. 7 ATH for the class of 2024.
Hampton has made a number of plays on both sides of the ball in high school and as a returner. Regardless of what position he slots into at the next level, Hampton looks like an impact prospect for a number of programs.
