Brandon Baker, nation’s top 2024 OT, keeps 3 SEC programs in top 10

Brandon Baker is a premier offensive line prospect and one of the top overall recruits in the country for the class of 2024. On Thursday, Baker made some cuts to his list of potential destinations with a top 10 list moving forward.
Out of the SEC, Baker kept Georgia and Tennessee in the mix. Texas — on its way to the SEC in 2024 — is also on Baker’s list. Washington, Michigan, Florida State, Miami, Oregon, Nebraska and Ohio State also made the cut.

Baker is listed at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds out of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. Prior to cutting down his list, Baker held over 2 dozen offers from some of the most elite programs in the country.
According to the 247 Sports Composite, Baker is a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 OT in the country for the class of 2024. He’s also the 26th overall player in the country and the 2nd player out of California for the cycle.
