Fallica has had a multi-decade career on GameDay. He first joined the show in 1996 before the show went on the road to originate from the site of the week’s biggest college football game. During the segment, Kirk Herbstreit, who also started on the show in 1996, noted that Fallica’s nickname came from Lee Corso, who mused that the analyst ate like a bear.
Fallica began his ESPN career as a production assistant/tape operator with ESPN Radio in 1995. His title for the past few years has been Research Producer and Sports Betting Analyst. Fallica also co-hosted the “Stanford Steve and the Bear” podcast with midnight SportsCenter segment producer/commentator “Stanford Steve” Coughlin and contributed game previews from a spread perspective to Greg McElroy’s “Always College Football” podcast.
Fallica’s record for his “Bear’s Bank” picks featured on “GameDay” was 203-178-9 since 2015. At FOX, Fallica will reportedly contribute to sports betting coverage and the “Big Noon Kickoff” pregame show.
