As FOX Sports continues to move away from writing to a video-based website, many talented writers are being let go.
On Tuesday, college football expert Stewart Mandel discovered he was among those writers who were let go in this round of layoffs.
Mandel announced he was no longer with FOX Sports on Twitter Tuesday night:
I worked with so many great people in 3 years at https://t.co/oZLocPARm4. As you may have read, the site is going in a different direction.

Mandel had been with FOX for three years and had become an authority on all things college football.
Here’s hoping he lands a new job soon.
