On Saturday, ESPN announced it will air an SportsCenter Special on Monday, June 15, at 9 p.m. Eastern.

The 2-hour special will be hosted by Mike Greenberg and will feature 6 pro sports commissioners — the NFL’s Roger Goodell, the NBA’s Adam Silver, the WNBA’s Cathy Engelbert, MLB’s Rob Manfred, the NHL’s Gary Bettman and MLS’s Don Garber.

Per an ESPN press release, Greenberg will discuss a number of topics with the commissioners, from health of players to the racial protests going on around the country:

Greenberg will speak with each league commissioner about his/her sport and the approach to return. Topics will include the health and safety of players and workers, the economic impact and plans going forward, games without fans and potential broadcast innovations, the consequences and legacy of “asterisk seasons,” and the potential long-term impact of COVID-19.

In addition, the ESPN special will discuss social justice reform efforts among leagues, teams and players that have come to the forefront following the death of George Floyd and with worldwide demonstrations calling for justice, equality and the condemnation of racism.

Medical experts, coaches, current players and analysts will also join the show to offer their thoughts on the wide-range of topics. The interviews with league commissioners will be pre-recorded, per the release.
