ESPN has updated its FPI rankings after Week 9 of the 2022 college football season, and there are some head-scratching teams included in the top 25.
Ohio State take the No. 1 spot, with Alabama checking in at No. 2, ahead of unbeaten SEC teams Georgia (No. 3) and Tennessee (No. 5).
Also, Texas … yes, the 5-3 Longhorns … took the No. 6 spot. That’s right. A 5-3 team is ranked No. 6.
