Hunter Yurachek has been an SEC athletic director since 2017, when he landed the Arkansas job. There has been speculation he could be on the move within the conference.

Yuracheck has been mentioned for the opening at South Carolina. Ahead of Arkansas football’s Battle Line Rivalry clash with Mizzou in Columbia, Yurachek addressed the South Carolina chatter with David Bazzel.

Yuracheck told Bazzel that he has no intention of going to South Carolina. The Arkansas AD further commented that he suspects the speculation is tied to his roots in Charlotte and time at Coastal Carolina.

Yuracheck, 56, has worked in college athletics for 3 decades. He got his start at Wake Forest in 1994 as an assistant director of marketing and promotions before becoming an assistant athletics director at Vanderbilt in 1998.

Yuracheck got his first AD gig at Coastal Carolina in 2010. He was at Houston from 2015-17 before coming to Arkansas.
