Jalen Hurts finds AJ Brown to cash in INT, extend Eagles lead

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are dominating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.
Hurts’ Eagles have a stunning 24-0 lead on the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champions at the half. Philadelphia’s most recent score came on the SEC connection of Hurts to AJ Brown.
Set up with excellent field position at the Kansas City 14-yard line, Hurts found Brown on the second play of the drive to put 6 more points on the board. The extra point was true, and the Eagles made it 24-0.
Hurts scored the game’s first touchdown. The Eagles turned to the former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback on their famous “tush push” to score from 1-yard out, the only score of the 1st quarter.
In the firt half, Hurts is 11-of-15 passing for 123 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception, while taking 1 sack for 6 yards. Hurts has also run the ball 8 times for 25 yards. He has Philadelphia’s only rushing score. The Eagles’ 3rd touchdown of the game came on Cooper DeJean’s pick-6.
Brown, a former Ole Miss standout, has 2 catches on 4 targets for 34 yards. He is the only Eagle with a receiving touchdown in the game. Jahan Dotson is Philadelphia’s leader in receiving yards with 42 on 2 catches (2 targets).
