Julian Lewis, an elite quarterback in the Class of 2026 out of Carrollton, Georgia, has narrowed his list of schools to 8, and 4 hail from the SEC.
Lewis is 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, and listed Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Oregon, USC, Ohio State and Florida State in his top 8. Lewis narrowed that list from a reported 36 offers.
Lewis last season as a freshman led Carrollton to Georgia’s 7A title game, and he was named Region Offensive Player of the Year after completing 283 of 432 passing attempts (65.5%) for 4,118 yards with 48 TD, and 12 interceptions. He also passed for a state-finals record 531 yards against Mill Creek, and was named MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year, according to 247Sports.
Lewis also has the same high school football coach as Trevor Lawrence and the same trainer who oversaw Lawrence and Justin Fields in their formative years in Georgia, ESPN reported.
