Four top 10 teams lost, including No. 2 Clemson. Washington State, Auburn and Washington were the other three.
One thing is for certain: Georgia is cementing itself, along with Alabama, as a major College Football Playoff contender.
That’s reflected in Kirk Herbstreit’s updated top four, although Herbstreit doesn’t have UGA at No. 2. Penn State occupies that spot for now. TCU rounded out the top four.
