Kyle Lofton, transferring St. Bonaventure guard, reportedly drawing interest from 2 SEC teams

Kyle Lofton is an elite point guard who spent the 2021-22 season playing for St. Bonaventure, quickly becoming one of the Bonnies’ best players.

Now, though, he’s in the transfer portal and exploring his options. Several big-name programs are in the mix for his commitment.

As you can see below, college hoops insider Jon Rothstein reports that 2 SEC teams — Florida and Tennessee — have shown interest in the talented guard:

Those 2 SEC squads will compete with Purdue, Arizona, Rutgers, Texas Tech, Seton Hall and Kansas State for Lofton’s services in 2022-23.

Lofton appeared in 30 games for St. Bonaventure last season, starting all of them. He averaged 12.8 points, 5.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2 steals per contest.
