Lee Corso has been a staple of College GameDay since its inception in 1987.

The legendary analyst returned to the program in 2024, revealing his picks for the College Football Playoff final 4 on Saturday. Corso predicted Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, and Notre Dame to be the last 4 teams standing in 2024.

For the National Championship, Corso sees it being Texas and Georgia battling it out.

“Texas wins the National Championship,” Corso declared, as he made the “Horns Up” hand gesture.

Corso opined that Texas has a favorable schedule in its first SEC season.

“No Alabama, No LSU, No Ole Miss, No Tennessee. Who the hell are they playing?” Corso asked.

The Longhorns will kick off the 2024 season against the Colorado State Rams on Saturday. The Longhorns have sky-high expectations in 2024 as Quinn Ewers remains under the center and the team won 12 games last season. The Longhorns made the College Football Playoff but couldn’t get past Washington.

The Bulldogs are looking to get back to the CFP after being left out last season. The Buckeyes and Fighting Irish are also seeking to return to the CFP, with the Buckeyes last making it in 2023 and the Irish making it in 2021.

In Week 1, the Bulldogs will take on Clemson in a top-25 matchup. The Irish also have a top-25 matchup to begin their season against Texas A&M. Of these 4 teams, the Buckeyes have the easiest opener with a game against lowly Akron.

Will Corso end up being right with his latest prediction?
