NCAA Rules Committee exploring options to stop fake injuries, per report

The NCAA Rules Committee will meet on March 1, and many fans will be happy to hear about one of the items on the agenda.

Per The Athletic, the committee is going to take a look at how to stop fake injuries in college football, something many fans have taken issue with in recent years.

According to The Athletic’s Nicole Auerbach, director of officials Steve Shaw isn’t sure what the changes will look like yet, but he said it’s “an integrity issue” that needs to be addressed:

Will the rules committee figure out a way to halt the fake injuries that have taken over the sport? We’ll find out what comes out of that March 1 meeting.
