Paul Finebaum has 3 SEC teams in his top 5 entering Week 3

The SEC has been dominant in the early part of the 2018 season, and the best teams continue to rise in the AP Poll.
On Wednesday, SEC Network host Paul Finebaum released his updated top-five teams list during “First Take” on ESPN, and in a bit of a surprise, three SEC teams made the cut.
As you can see below, Alabama and Georgia held the top spots, with Auburn checking in at No. 5 (via The Spun):
- No. 1 — Alabama
- No. 2 — Georgia
- No. 3 — Clemson
- No. 4 — Ohio State
- No. 5 — Auburn
Perhaps the biggest surprise is Auburn at No. 5, ahead of teams like Wisconsin and Oklahoma. However, it’s hard to fault what the Tigers have done this year.
And, Auburn can make another statement this weekend, when LSU comes to town. Who knows? Finebaum may have a top three of all SEC teams by this time next week.
