The BCS ended with Florida State’s win over Auburn, but the formula still remains popular with college football fans who are critical of the College Football Playoff selection committee.

BCSKnowHow.com remains active on Twitter. The site tweeted a side-by-side comparison of the BCS formula Top 25 with the latest committee rankings.

As you can see, Alabama and Notre Dame are in the top two spots of both rankings. Interestingly, the BCS would have Ohio State ahead of Clemson for No. 3. The BCS also gives Florida the nod at No. 5 over Texas A&M, while the selection committee continues to favor the Aggies for defeating UF 41-38 on Oct. 10.

Mizzou, making its first CFP Top 25 appearance since 2018, was one of the teams most favored by the selection committee compared to the BCS formula, getting a six-spot boost.

Certain fanbases are sure to be supporting one set of rankings over the other.
