President Donald Trump was in Tuscaloosa on Saturday afternoon to take in the thrilling game between No. 2 LSU and No. 3 Alabama.

It didn’t disappoint, either, as LSU won 46-41 in a contest that was fun to watch from end-to-end. There were points scored, there were incredible plays and there was some late-game drama — all the makings of a classic game.

After watching the action on the field, president Trump issued a tweet thanking both teams for an exciting evening:

Was Trump playing both sides there with that tweet? Absolutely, but it’s hard to blame him for enjoying what was one of the best football games of the 2019 season so far.

Will this be the last college football game Trump attends this year? Or, will he perhaps show up at the Army-Navy game? He’s also shown up to the CFP title game before, so anything is possible.

How’d the crowd in Tuscaloosa react to the president’s visit, you ask? Here’s a look at how the fans responded to the president.
