Pro Football Focus updated its elusiveness ratings among SEC running backs on Monday.
This list of backs is released on a weekly basis to reflect the conference’s most elusive backs when receiving a minimum of 50 total touches.
“Elusive rating boils down a runner’s success beyond the point of being helped by his blockers,” a post from Pro Football Focus stated.
Alabama’s Damien Harris is the new leader in the clubhouse after Week 7. Harris has 18 missed tackles forced on 74 total touches. His elusiveness rating, according to Pro Football Focus, is a 148.4 — nearly 30 points higher than No. 2.
Joining Harris in the elite elusiveness category this week are Malik Davis (Florida), John Kelly (Tennessee), Sony Michel (Georgia), Nick Chubb (Georgia) and Jordan Wilkins (Ole Miss).
