Seattle Dragons score first-ever XFL touchdown

The XFL is back and revamped from its one-year run back in 2001.

Saturday was the first game of the season, and it pitted the Seattle Dragons against the DC Defenders. Late in the first quarter, the Dragons scored the first-ever touchdown in this new iteration of the XFL.

As you can see in the video below, QB Brandon Silvers hit WR Austin Proehl for a 14-yard touchdown to give the Dragons a 6-3 victory:

Proehl attended college at North Carolina, while Silvers was the quarterback at Troy during his college career.

Will the new XFL be successful? It seems to be off to a decent start on ABC, with games Saturday and Sunday.
