SEC announces new date, time for LSU-Ole Miss men’s basketball game

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an impact on the college basketball season.
Currently, Florida and Texas A&M are dealing with COVID issues, and that has led to some reshuffling of schedules.
On Sunday afternoon, the SEC announced that LSU would head to Ole Miss on Wednesday night to play a game as a result of postponements elsewhere around the league:
The @SEC has announced that LSU men’s basketball will play at Ole Miss at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 17, as a result of game postponements during the 2021 season due to the impact of COVID-19. The game will be available on ESPNU.https://t.co/tbGUG0i5H3

Per the release, with this game, all 14 teams are still on track to be able to play a full conference schedule, but we’ll see how things are impacted moving forward.
Wednesday night’s game will tip off at 9 p.m. ET and will be shown on ESPNU.
