Many SEC teams are idle in Week 8, but there are some big conference matchups coming up over the next few weeks.
Though it’s still early, there are some opening lines available for some of the more notable games.
As you can see below, the Georgia-Florida, Alabama-LSU, LSU-Tennessee, Florida State-Florida, Georgia-Georgia Tech, Louisville-Kentucky and Alabama-Auburn games already have lines:
.@LVSuperBook odds: UGA -13.5 UF, OSU -9.5 PSU, OSU -21 MSU, Clem -9.5 at NCSt, Ala -24 LSU, Clem -12.5 FSU, UM -3 ND, OSU E OU, OU -4.5 TCU

Of particular note is the opening line of the Alabama-LSU game, as Alabama by 24 would be the largest spread in the rivalry game in a long time:
Early spread on #LSU–#Bama: Tide -24.
That would be the largest in the series in, maybe, decades. https://t.co/Tesm2c4P1e

LSU is coming off a big win over Auburn, though, and if the Tigers continue to win, that spread would likely drop.
The Georgia-Florida game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Jacksonville after both teams have a bye this week.
Again, these are only the early lines, so they’re bound to change over the next few weeks, but it is interesting to get an early look at what Vegas thinks of some of the marquee matchups.
