An upset is brewing in Pittsburgh this afternoon, as the No. 2 Miami Hurricanes enter the fourth quarter of the regular-season finale trailing unranked Pitt 17-7.
Panthers coach Pat Narduzzi called his shot at halftime, predicting the upset. So far, the Panthers have followed through and lead by two possessions heading into the final quarter of play.
Miami is one of four undefeated teams in the country, along with No. 1 Alabama, No. 5 Wisconsin and No. 15 UCF. However, this is the second week in a row the Hurricanes have struggled with unranked teams.
Will the Panthers be able to hold off the talented Hurricanes to finish off the improbable upset? That remains to be seen, but the Hurricanes are in trouble right now.
No. 7 Georgia, a team that used to be coached by Miami coach Mark Richt, will be watching the last 15 minutes closely.
The game can be found on ABC.
