WATCH: CBS Sports experts make their picks for Week 8’s LSU-Mississippi State showdown

For the second week in a row, LSU will welcome the Bulldogs into Tiger Stadium. Last week, it was Georgia, and this week, Mississippi State comes to Baton Rouge.
This big-time SEC West matchup is LSU’s final game before a bye week, which is followed by a visit from No. 1 Alabama. On the other hand, Mississippi State is coming off a bye week of its own.
On Tuesday night, CBS Sports’ “Inside College Foootball” crew of Brian Jones, Rick Neuheisel, Aaron Taylor and Randy Cross made their picks for the big game, as you can see in the clip below:

All four think the Tigers will be too much for the Bulldogs this weekend, but this could be a trap game ahead of the showdown with Alabama.
LSU will need to be on its game from the opening whistle to make sure an upset doesn’t take place on Saturday.
