WATCH: FOX Sports analysts reveal CFP picks, national champions

As the season inches closer, with less than a week to go until most teams open their 2018 campaigns, it’s time for analysts to make their preseason predictions for the College Football Playoff.
On Sunday, it was the FOX crew’s turn to make their picks, with Dave Wannstedt, Matt Leinart, Joel Klatt, Robert Smith and Bruce Feldman joining the action.
As you can see in the video below, there were some very interesting selections, including Smith picking Texas as his champion:

Leinart and Klatt were the only two to pick champions from the SEC, with both choosing Alabama to win it all.
Here’s a breakdown of who everyone chose to make the Playoff, including their champions:
Dave Wannstedt:

- No. 4 — Wisconsin

Matt Leinart:
